Central and South America have generated substantial momentum in driving transparency in fishing activity with active programs in Chile, Costa Rica, Panama and Peru; and growing relationships in Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico. We are seeking to add a senior member of the team to play a key part in building on this momentum to bring more government partners onboard and deepen our relationships with our current partners in Central and South America. Global Fishing Watch is recruiting to expand its Data and Analysis Cell and deliver a program of work to promote the use of open and transparent data in fisheries governance and build a sustainable future for our oceans. The Analysis Coordinator will lead technical engagement with governments and regional fisheries organizations to identify areas of collaboration that can lead to effective change on the water and directly addresses IUU fishing. They will also coordinate research partnerships with regional institutions and help track progress with government partners. Learn more
