Missing Sentinel 2 data that feeds vessel detections

Please be aware that the data source we use for our Sentinel-2 vessel detections and fixed infrastructure datasets is experiencing an issue. The provider has had some service interruptions, causing a gap in our data collection.

Data gaps 
Data collection has been incomplete since August 21, 2025, with a much lower volume than usual. The data has not been updated since September 3, 2025.

Affected products

  • Our "Imagery vessel detections (Optical)" layer on the map has not received new data since August 22, 2025.
  • The daily file for this dataset on our Data Download Portal has not been updated since August 8, 2025.

We have contacted our data provider and are awaiting an update on their progress. We will provide further information as soon as it becomes available.
