Fisheries Analysis Coordinator
As the fisheries analysis coordinator in Latin America, Edaysi is leading technical engagement with governments, non-profit organizations, and regional fisheries organizations to provide data and analytical support in order to strengthen fisheries governance and address IUU fishing. Edaysi has experience in fisheries management, fisheries policy, and data analysis. Prior to Global Fishing Watch she worked for the National Commission for Fisheries and Aquaculture in Mexico where she carried out fisheries analysis and established fisheries regulations for industrial and artisanal fisheries. Edaysi has a B.S. in fisheries engineering and a MESM with a specialization in coastal marine resources management from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
