Toutefois, le r\u00f4le jou\u00e9 par les gouvernements nationaux est particuli\u00e8rement important. \u00c9tant responsables de la r\u00e8glementation de leurs propres eaux et flottes de p\u00eache, ces gouvernements sont charg\u00e9s de mettre en \u0153uvre des mesures de gestion et de conservation et de contribuer aux accords internationaux.<br \/><br \/>Les gouvernements du monde entier se sont engag\u00e9s \u00e0 lutter contre la p\u00eache ill\u00e9gale et destructrice, \u00e0 restaurer la biodiversit\u00e9 marine et \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger 30 % des oc\u00e9ans d\u2019ici 2030. Toutefois, cela n\u00e9cessite un suivi am\u00e9lior\u00e9 de l\u2019oc\u00e9an, des donn\u00e9es fiables, des prises de d\u00e9cisions bien inform\u00e9es, une plus grande responsabilisation des activit\u00e9s humaines en mer et, par-dessus tout, la volont\u00e9 politique de mener ces efforts de mani\u00e8re collaborative.<\/p><p>Nous pensons que la cl\u00e9 d\u2019une meilleure gestion des oc\u00e9ans r\u00e9side dans des donn\u00e9es en libre acc\u00e8s et davantage de transparence, permettant \u00e0 toutes les personnes concern\u00e9es d\u2019acc\u00e9der aux donn\u00e9es sur les oc\u00e9ans et les navires ainsi qu\u2019aux politiques et processus d\u00e9cisionnels associ\u00e9s.
