Sin embargo, el papel que desempe\u00f1an los gobiernos nacionales es especialmente importante. Encargados de regular sus propias aguas y flotas pesqueras, estos gobiernos son responsables de implementar medidas de gesti\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n y contribuir a los acuerdos internacionales.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los gobiernos de todo el mundo se han comprometido a combatir la pesca ilegal y destructiva, restaurar la biodiversidad marina y salvaguardar el 30 por ciento de los oc\u00e9anos para 2030. Sin embargo, para ello se requiere una mejor vigilancia del mar, datos confiables, una toma de decisiones informada, una mayor rendici\u00f3n de cuentas sobre las actividades humanas en el mar y, sobre todo, la voluntad pol\u00edtica de emprender estos esfuerzos de manera conjunta.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creemos que la clave para una mejor gesti\u00f3n de los oc\u00e9anos radica en los datos abiertos y una mayor <a href=\"https:\/\/globalfishingwatch.org\/es\/transparencia\/\">transparencia<\/a>, permitiendo que los datos de los oc\u00e9anos y de los buques, junto con las pol\u00edticas y los procesos de toma de decisiones relacionados, est\u00e9n disponibles para todos los afectados. En colaboraci\u00f3n con diversos socios -pescadores artesanales, grupos conservacionistas, comunidad cient\u00edfica y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n- tratamos de desarrollar soluciones conjuntas y crear capacidad para combatir la pesca ilegal y reforzar la protecci\u00f3n marina.
