Esa decisi\u00f3n transform\u00f3 su sector pesquero y ha ayudado a generar mayor conocimiento sobre el oc\u00e9ano para mejorar las pol\u00edticas y tomar acciones efectivas en la gesti\u00f3n pesquera. Gracias al apoyo combinado de campeones gubernamentales, l\u00edderes de la industria y acad\u00e9micos, la transparencia en la pesca se ha convertido en el est\u00e1ndar operativo en el mar peruano, uno de los m\u00e1s productivos y biodiversos del mundo.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualmente, m\u00faltiples voces abogan por los datos p\u00fablicos en todo el Per\u00fa, brindando diversos beneficios a su econom\u00eda y a su gente: las autoridades mar\u00edtimas utilizan tecnolog\u00eda de punta para mejorar el monitoreo y el control de sus aguas, los pescadores comparten los datos de sus embarcaciones para mejorar las regulaciones del sector y proteger sus medios de vida, y los cient\u00edficos utilizan datos abiertos para realizar investigaciones
