Se estima que China, Jap\u00f3n, la Rep\u00fablica de Corea y la entidad pesquera de Taiw\u00e1n representan un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stimson.org\/2019\/report-reveals-impact-massive-fishing-fleets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">90 por ciento<\/a> del esfuerzo de pesca distante en todo el mundo. Las flotas pesqueras distantes operan a nivel mundial y en todos los principales organismos regionales de gesti\u00f3n pesquera, convirti\u00e9ndolas en una parte integral del proceso de toma de decisiones cuando se trata de la gobernanza de las pesquer\u00edas internacionales.<br \/><br \/>Global Fishing Watch est\u00e1 trabajando con una variedad de aliados en toda la regi\u00f3n para apoyar sus esfuerzos de sostenibilidad, as\u00ed como fortalecer colaboraciones de investigaci\u00f3n y seguridad que ayudar\u00e1n a fomentar la transparencia pesquera. Actualmente estamos entregando herramientas de seguimiento y an\u00e1lisis para seleccionar pa\u00edses de abanderamiento \u2014Jap\u00f3n, Rep\u00fablica de Corea, Vietnam y la entidad pesquera de Taiw\u00e1n\u2014 con el objetivo de mejorar sus esfuerzos de supervisi\u00f3n, control y vigilancia para aumentar la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y mejorar las pr\u00e1cticas de gesti\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Una colaboraci\u00f3n continua con la Guardia Costera de los Estados Unidos tambi\u00e9n nos ha presentado oportunidades para apoyar a las patrullas, proporcionando a las autoridades an\u00e1lisis para informar sus esfuerzos y contribuir al enfoque de las investigaciones.
