Global Fishing Watch cree que la transparencia de la actividad pesquera es clave para lograr pesquer\u00edas mundiales sostenibles. En l\u00ednea con nuestra misi\u00f3n de crear y compartir p\u00fablicamente el conocimiento sobre la actividad humana en el mar, las primeras versiones de nuestro mapa se han centrado en la pesca como la actividad humana m\u00e1s extendida, y en la pesca industrial como el sector con datos de seguimiento que ya est\u00e1n siendo recopilados.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gracias a las asociaciones con gobiernos, ya tenemos algunas pescas a peque\u00f1a escala presentadas en el mapa de Global Fishing Watch a trav\u00e9s de datos VMS. Ahora estamos buscando activamente asociaciones y opciones tecnol\u00f3gicas para aportar m\u00e1s datos en apoyo de un futuro justo y sostenible para la pesca a peque\u00f1a escala, que representa a la gran mayor\u00eda de las personas y los buques en el mar. Global Fishing Watch tiene proyectos piloto sobre pesca a peque\u00f1a escala en Indonesia y Per\u00fa, donde estamos reuniendo lecciones aprendidas para contar con informaci\u00f3n para oportunidades futuras de contribuir a la red de profesionales que promueven los medios de vida y la resiliencia de las comunidades costeras.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
